Add SSL support for admin operations

It would be nice to have client and admin stuff separated, so that all stuff that needs passwords/cookies can be routed over SSL while all client stuff (reading, posting comments) still can go entirely over unencrypted connections.

It would be better if WordPress could automatically handle whichever protocol the user employed when accessing the site. See ticket:1372 for a possible patch.
