Current users of WordPress in the 2.0.x branch will loose the content of their Blogroll following an upgrade to the 2.3 trunk (and therefore presumably the final release too).
Entering Manage Blogroll, clicking Edit and Save for each link populates the blank Category field but I can see no changes in the links table (the link_category filed is populated and does not change).
I chose not to upgrade from 2.0.x to the 2.1.x and 2.2.x branches because of changes to the category structure - I would guess that other users will be in the same situation, but maybe for different reasons.
Manually editing all of my links is not something I'd look forward to in upgrading to 2.3.
