Publishing a new Page creates a Draft

On a new install with no plugins activated:

I create a new Page, enter a title (no other info entered), and click on Publish. The "saving draft" text briefly appears before the page reloads. On the Manage Pages page, for every page, there is a Published Page and an Unpublished Page, both with the same name. This occurs for every Page I create. This is occuring on several different installs on the same server, using either Firefox or IE.

I'm also experiencing this using Firefox 2.0.0.11

The server setup is Wordpress 2.5.1 Windows 2003 PHP 5.2.5 MySQL 5.0.27

My comments in this post may be relevant to this bug, specifically the bit about renaming the default category to something other than Uncategorized. Then again I could be wrong.

Confirming in 2.6..

Also this (sort-of) affects posts, but in a different way. If you type just a post-tile then try to publish it saves the draft but does not publish the post, it just stays on the edit post page. You have to hit publish twice on the post to get it through. (Which is fair enough, really, for a post with no content...)

No, this is still possible. This is a race condition between autosave and the publish button press. It's only really possible if you add a title and then immmediately press publish without adding content or clicking anything else in between.
