Schedule / Publish not change in quick editor for posts

Description

I'm running a live test css showcase site on http://cssbrazil.com, running wp 2.7-RC1-10119.

I created a post and then set to be published on 12 december. Later I went to quick editor, and changed the status of the post that was "SCHEDULED" to "PUBLISHED", and the post is still marked as scheduled.

I think this is a bug, because if you don't want the post scheduled anymore, and do the same as I, things won't work.

what do you think about it ?
regards.

  • Milestone changed from 2.7 to 2.8

I've always just changed the time to be either in the past (from the present) or just set it to within a minute or two in the future.

Little late to change the behavior now.

  • Milestone changed from Future Release to 2.8.1

I *think* this one has to do with typecasting issues in the cron.
